[Steam-engine] Update

yea..thanks guys!! We also hope the knock is gone from the mechanical
aspect. Never heard steam knock before so that might prove interesting.

We can seal the bottom end up pretty good and when done, the pressure
raises very little. It will be fun playing with that this summer. We
missed out on a good steam up day yesterday as it got up to 75..would have
been perfect. I'm still playing with cylinder drain piping and friend Corky
is finishing up the boiler door.

Andy, you asked about oiler gaskets. I purchased a thin sheet of cork and
use a "Drywall Compass" to cut out the round gasket. Removed the stock set
screw gizmo and replaced it with a 1/4" shanked headless bolt which I chuck
in the drill. Do the ID first. Not the ultimate answer but seems to do ok.
I'd like to try some rubber.

Well, time to head fer the shed...ya'll take care,

RickinMt.
