Thanks for always posting.
The John Deere 60 with power seating.   
Our header (scrapped out decades ago) had power seating; Grandpa straddled,
and sat on, the tiller which steered the rear 2' dia. cast iron wheel with
built in V- rib.  In the late 30's, we opened most wheat fields with a
couple rounds with header, one clockwise and one counterclockwise.  This
almost eliminated any down wheat, caused by tractor and pulltype combine. 
This loose wheat (with straw) was stacked then threshed a month or so
later, and straw used for bedding, etc.  Apparently the steering geometry
design was just right because Grandpa never did get knocked off the tiller,
etc.
