I saw some reviews on that unit the other day and they said it did not get the updates timely enough to really work out. Also the Bluetoth did not work..

I use some of the most highly sophisticated technology in my everyday work it is amazing, but I still have the most trouble trying to make that PDA work with my computer!!!!!!!!!

I seem to rely on pencil and notebook. Also, when doing calculations I still work through one set with Pencil and paper just to check the calculator or the computer. There are so many engineers out there today that take the computer printouts as gospel and have no idea whether they are really in the ballpark. I worked for 30 years in the State water regulatory agency. You would be amazed at how many studies from prominent engineering firms I sent back with a few notes regarding accuracy on calculations.

I had one from a young engineer that worked for the City of OKC during my first 5 years with the state. I called him up and he was a little huffy at first but for some reason I took a little time and explained where he had made his mistake. He is now a good friend and associate and retired 2 years ago to work part time for a local firm. I also helped him get registered about 5 years later..

But I still feel like a dinosaur when it comes to learning this new stuff. I am only 54 but it seems like 90 when they come out with a new piece I have to learn...
