[AT] Satellite Tracking was Warning and apology.

Guys I'm not young, stupid or born in the city. I played in the swamps,
sometimes up to my waste in mud, when I was a child. What I am is self
reliant. If I can buy a device that can tell folks where I am if something
happens I've accomplished a lot of things and not necessarily all for
myself. How many times do you hear about rescue workers and volunteers
getting killed or hurt while seaching. How many millions of dollars get
spent every year in this country doing searches for folks in remote places
(no matter if they belong there or not).

Using a device like this can pin point the search and cut it down from days,
multiple professional and volunteer searchers and hundreds of thousands of
dollars to a few hours by a few well trained people.

Henry no one said the $8 insurance would pay for injuries. It covers the
cost of a helicopter and crew to get you out of what ever trouble you got
yourself into. There are places in this country where a cup of coffee costs
$8.

I don't care if you guys buy it or not and honestly I don't care what you
think of it. I posted the information for the benefit of those it might
help. Some of us are in remote areas, alone out of necessity. Think of a
middle aged farmer who is maybe diabetic or has heart disease and tends
several thousand acres of land. Think of a Surveyor like Cecil or
commercial fishermen. It goes on and on. Similar devices have been
available for years. They are called EPIRBS but they cost thousands of
dollars. This device including the purchase, the yearly fee and the
insurance is only $300.00. It's a hell of a deal.
Buy it if you need it. If you don't then stop running down people that
might need it.

By the way Henry, if you read the fine print as you told us to do, the
insurance is something like $150 unless you buy it with the device. Then
it's only $7.95. That kind of makes the device free doesn't it.

OH by the way Henry. You might plan your life around your neighbors holding
benefits to bail you out. I don't live that way.

Charlie
