[AT] Voltage regulator

Who knows what kind of response you'll get when you try to take it back, but
I'd say it's worth a try. They might well be more willing if you're looking
to exchange it for another rather than get your money back. Especially
since it had been repackaged to begin with.
I shop my local TSC from time to time but there's a new really big Fleet
Farm right next door so I don't know how long they'll be able to stay open.
They seem to change managers a lot, at least they did a couple of years ago.
I was looking for an out of stock and out of production item from them a
while back. The manager located a bunch of them for me in other stores and
I thought I was all set. Didn't hear back for a month or so and when I
checked there was a new manager with no knowledge of the deal. So I started
again. 2 months later, no goodies yet, and a new manager. I gave up.

Bill,
I think you are right. I have done the clean, adjust stuff. Set
the spring to pull hard enough it would not even come on line unless I
turned on the lights. And then it just stayed on line.
Do you really think that yuppie, horsey place will replace that
regulator? I think they already have, once. The package was not sealed. I
should have just left it.
