[AJD] 5x6 bales

Well, depends on a lot. 5 x 6 isn't really a standard size. According to
Penn State University, a 5' diameter bale, 5' long weighs approximately
1,000 lbs.

http://www.age.psu.edu/extension/Factsheets/i/I112.pdf

The University at Wisconsin calls the same bale 1,200 lbs:

There's a fella trying to patent a consistent method for determining
standard sizes and weight here:

http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5343670-claims.html

Virginia Tech recognizes the variability and recommends round bales have a
density of at least 10 lbs. per cubic foot. So a 5' x 6' X Pi says it should
be a minimum 940 lbs.

So I guess you'll have to estimate.

Out in this part of the world, the largest bale is a 4 x 4, which in alfalfa

weighs approximately one ton.
