Jon,
I rebuilt my 1950 H three years ago. I used a sleeve assembly that I
purchased from Valu-Bilt Tractor Parts in Indianola, IA. I had a local
machine shop press out the old sleeves and install the new sleeves, as well
as do all the block work, including checking the crankshaft, camshaft, and
installing new bearings. The sleeve assembly that I got is .030 oversize,
and would fit in the existing cylinder holes. This increases the
displacement by about 6 cubic inches. I don't think that is quite as much
as a Super H, doesn't it have about 165 cubic inches? So, I guess that this
does not really answer your question about using a Super H kit in your
tractor. You would have to know what the O.D. is on the new sleeves. I
would think that your block could be rebored to accomodate the Super H
sleeves.
Valu-Bilt also sells short and long blocks for the C152, but they are
pricey.
