Thanks to everyone who responded.? I knew you guys (and gals)?would know about these things.? It seems the trombone I bought is at least 40 years old, pretty neat.? I have learned quite a bit about them in the past couple of days.? Thanks again for your help, now back to tractors....

Well all I know is Elkhorn is where I grew up. It is where the Getzen Company is 
headquarted and where they started. I went to school with Tom Getzen who is the 
head of the company now. I am sure that Elkhart is the capital now. Joe if you 
need a contact at Getzen let me know off list and I will get you a phone number 
of who to contact.
