Take care of that foot and be careful getting back on it too much too soon.
You might try some lacquer thinner in the F12 tank to cut the old gas gunk.
As solvents go lacquer thinner seems to be "hotter" than most other solvents
and will cut things that most others won't.

Subject: [AT] F-12 fuel pump long

> Thanks yall for the info on the fuel pump, have Rices # in my phone to
call him in the morning. I have been busy with the other tractors, drilling
post holes with super C,
> hooking up mower to 504, getting rake out and greased and changing oils,
on and on. Along with the foot giving trouble, a couple week ago nurse
stopped for her monthly checkup. She called my DR and told her i was ready
for shoe boot whatever. Well I was a happy dude and run into town and got a
pair of boots. The 1st time I had a boot on since shashing it. Anyways the
rubber on bandaid liked all that thin scar tissue skin, an ripped the skin
off as I removed it.
> So I had to go back to the orthapeadic shoe with the wet to dry + ace
bandage. I will find out at DR tommarow since its my monthly appt. This
thing has really messed up my gitalong I need to mow 35 acres hay soon or
frost will get it. Is so dry there is very little moisture in the ground the
holes we been drilling is powder but the SC with fasthitch is awesome when
it comes to drilling holes with the down pressure and 2pt auger.
> The little girl in the F 12 pictures is Makayla, my neice she has been
here with us since she was 8 months old.
> Momma just had to many other interests to properly take care of her. Yall
know how some of these young people are anymore, anyways Makayla loves old
tractors, engines and gets a kick out of just inspecting, riding, working,
all of the toys big and small. She is 2 1/2 year old and getting to be quite
the helper :-) I may need some more help on this F-12 since it was running
Rough when we were pulling it in
> not sure if the timing ?? is right. Just run it long enough to see the oil
pressure pump up and listen for bad noise, sounded like a good engine and
had oil pressure way up on the gauge. When I noticed the fuel pump. What can
I pour in the gas tank that will cut the black dried out gas varnish ? there
appears to be 1/4" of that crap in the tank.
> I considered stickin a inch or 2 peice of tubing standpipe in the sediment
bowl with a gas screen over it letting the gas soften it over time. Then
removing tank ang cleaning it I have done that with other engines tanks with
fairly good results.
> Just hoping someone knowed of a quicker cure for dried out gas cutter ?
> Will keep yall updated
