[AT] TD6 Trackloader timing problems. Where is TDC

Cecil,   I've seen that done several times but once with bad results.
I was on a logging job in the late 70's.  The log loader had a 4-53 detroit. 
I don't know if it ran out of fuel or what the problem was but the mechanic 
put a gas soaked rag over the intake to get it to fire.  Well he must have 
put a bit too much gas on the rag.  She fired off and proceeded to turn 
about 4 grand for maybe 20 seconds.  We were all bailing off of the thing 
and heading for cover when the gas ran out.  It blew the tips off of 2 
injectors but that was all the damage it did.
