Roberto , I'm sure that you , and your friends , will make this tractor
really something else.
The reason the front wheels caught my eye , is that not that long ago I
visited a collector in my state , to buy some Cockshutt horsedrawn ploughs.
He also had a vast collection of tractors , and one of the cleanest , most
original , never used , was a 6 cylinder Oliver.
I asked him about this model tractor , he laughed , and said the reason it
was in such good condition was that it was useless in the paddock !.
It had a big , heavy engine , and small front wheels , as soon as it got in
to soft going , down it went , and not to mention that it was a mongrol to
steer !.
But I'm sure you will soon have your tractor as sweet as a bird !.
One thing I thought of , seeing the backend of the tractor , was that it
would be a natural for one of the old retrofit kits for the W6/M , where
they were fitted with the AM/AW6 3pl.
Anyway Roberto , I thank you for your generoristy , looking out for me ,
when I have asked it of you , you are a gentleman of the first order.
Regards Rob Johnson.
