[AT] naa aux tranny / howard

That is pretty impressive. I thought my 2N with both a Sherman step down
and Howard was slow, but Baumann has me beat!
<http://public.fotki.com/mikesloane/1946_ford_2n/howard.html> is an
image taken of the tractor when I brought it home (the green color is
moss - it had been sitting in a field for at least 15 years).

At one time I spoke with an older gentleman at Howard, and he was kind
enough to send me copies of stuff from his personal files relating to
the Rotovator itself and the auxiliary transmission. If anyone needs
them, I will dig them up and scan them in.

Interestingly, the Rotovator does not hook up to the tractor's three
point hitch, but bolts directly to the PTO housing and is raised and
lowered by a lever that still sits on my right fender. Mine has two
broken tines and a broken drive chain, the result of the PO lending the
machine to a careless neighbor. Mine also is set up for the smaller 1
1/8" PTO shaft, and the PO converted the shaft to 1 3/8", leaving the
Rotovator something of an orphan.
