[Farmall] Casting codes (was Re: (no subject)

These casting codes were usually in combination with other codes. In my
"International Harvester Tractor Data Book" by Guy Fay, the "M" code
refers to "Low Speed Attachment" (or if it is a "W", then you have the
"Forward Reverse drive").

But there is no reference to the XXX code, but there is a long list of
"X" codes with two numbers after the X. For instance, X22 means
"adjustable front axle (heavy duty)", so either you need to check the
code more closely, or you have some kind of experimental tractor.

Others on the list may (very likely) have much better information on
this than I, but that is what I found.

ps - putting something in the "Subject" of a message assures more
attention to it - some folks set incoming Email filters to discard all
messages with no subject on the assumption that it is spam.
