Hi
All to often I start chasing an idea that is non productive. Before I
close the door , I will pass the buck to you guys.

I need tires for a John deere manures spreader. The ones that were on it
when I got it were probably the orginal 1950's, as we had to cut them
off with a saw.

As I will only be using it in parades and the like. I figured I could
obtain some used highway tires, the amount of tread left was not
important. I have been on the inter net, on the phone, and personally
visited a number of dealers and recap places up and down the front
range. One place had a set of truck tires, 10 ply, that were a mite to
big, for the same price as new real manure spreader tires in KC Mo.
Putting new tires on an implement that sets around, and they rot away,
does not appeal to me. I put new tires on my good tractors, but I keep
them inside.

What I need is a pair of good used casings, that match, at a reasonable
price. Tire size can vary from 700 x 20, or 750 or 800 X 20

Thanks much
Ray Denver Colo.
