    Ron;
    The Case tune up guide calls for .014" cold for both intake and exhaust 
valve. With a new engine assembly, I like to give about.003" extra clearance 
until the head gasket settles and the seats are established. The rocker arms 
must be smooth where they contact the valve stems to get a good consistent 
gap reading and the VAC rocker arms do seem to wear some.
