[AJD] New to Me D, Plus poor fitting A metal

I sent this two days ago,  I bounced back to me today
as spam..  

  I brought home a 1937 D that I bought A few weeks
ago
today.  The trator turns over and has compression.  It
is  complete but the metal is rough.  There is a
shifter of some sort next to the oil pressure gauge
that I am not sure what it is for?  It may have had a
PTO on it at one time or is that the parking brake??


I also bought some reproduction sheet metal for my
1946 A on Ebay..  Not very happy with it.  I am going
to try and adjust my hood to see if I can get it to
line up better.  If not it is going back.
