[AJD] Champion Plugs - was Re: JD 70 running rough

Actually plowing snow heats the engine up quite nicely and it runs about 200 degrees.  I'm not sure if my story is annecdotal I am just sharing my experience certainly your milage may vary and I'm sure that the status of the ring etc play a role in fouling as well.
