I invested in one of those AL adjustable hitch, $200, but a darn good tool.

Or do like I do, get trailers that take 3 different receivers, a straight
one, a 4" drop and one with no balls for farm implements and fert. carts.
They don't get stuck, but you never have the one you need. One trailler
will drag in back with the straight hitch, the other's front axle doesn't
touch the ground much with without the drop.
