Here is a patent that was applied for on your machine "Patent # 1824989
Issued September 1931 By Fundom" This is all I could find.. I would suggest
contacting the Lima Ohio Historical society at this link,
http://www.allencountymuseum.org/ Hope This helps

Subject: [AT] Mystery shovel
I received some pix of a derelict crane/shovel found in the hills of NC on
some newly acquired property by the owner. The tag says it is a "Model A"
made by "Fundom Hoist & Shovel" of Lima, Ohio.
I can find nothing via Google. Have any of you ever heard of such a
manufacturer?
Any info would be helpful
Thanks
