[AT] Age-old question about non-detergent oil Was My 2007 Wheat Harvest

Hi Al, the main worry I would have is if the engine is heavily sludged 
is the sludge coming loose and plugging the screen on the oil pickup. 
This may not be recommended by some but we used run the engine till 
warmed up, shut it off and put a couple quarts of kerosene on top of the 
existing oil(way over full) and start the engine and leave idle for a 
bit and then drain the whole works. My dad did this with every engine we 
had and the oil stayed clean a lot longer. Ed
