John: I'm just scrapping (3) NH 77's. If I remember correctly, you have to loosen the chains and disconnect them underneath. You may have to remove one of the straight tracks too. I don't remember exactly what I did but it was a job! I have a good set of needles if you need them. It was a real good baler but all the neighbor kids grew up and couldn't find anyone to handle the the big bales any more. Hope this was of some help....Joe Hardisky Ryman Farm Dallas, PA
