The first time I planted for Dad, he said "Drive straight, turn around at 
the end", it's probably a little more complicated than that now.  He didn't 
like it when I said I couldn't drive the cultivator straight anyway, so the 
rows just as well be crooked...

We had a old JD planter with small boxes, on our one large field, he tied a 
sack of seed to the side of the tractor, always ran out on the far end.
