White paint is a sign that it was a demonstrator model. Personally,  I would keep it white,  I like sticking to original when ever possible.

It appears the original color was white. It also has a Woods belly mower
mounted that appears to also have been originally white. I'm thinking
about giving it a new coat of paint. Question. Should it be painted red
