[AT] Old weathered used-looking tractors

Charlie and all,

    I would have to agree with you guys on this one too.  A "restored" 
tractor doesn't nessesarily need to be brought back perfectly to factoy 
specs, but all of it's systems should be working half decent at least.  And 
yes, one of the first places a restored tractor ought to go is out into the 
field for a workout.  I like to see a good paint job like anyone else, but I 
like it with some oil and dust over the "new" - it makes it look more real.  
I like to "see" a restored tractor but I like to "hear" it even more.  I 
like the idea of hearing it make the sounds that it was designed to make, 
not puttering through a parade or idling in the grass.  When I restore an 
engine or tractor I make it work as soon as possible.  I want to hear it 
bark!
