    What will work for coons in a barn is a pan of antifreeze covered 
"securely" with an old oven grate with bars about an inch apart to keep 
other animals (cats and dogs) out.  Then toss down a half dozen slices of 
dry stale bread. The coons will reach through the bars to dunk the bread to 
make it soft to eat...

    You can also use a live trap to catch them and drop them off at the 
house of someone you don't like...   ;-)
