[AT] 560 starter short

Kevin: that starter sounds like a delco. they have 3 lengths of
solenoids, but the long one was the one used on tractors and industrial
equipment. A auto parts house should have one for no more than $15...
I pay about $4 for them in a quantity order. I have one here on my
backhoe that the bakelite cracked and it has to be kicked in about 4
times before it works. You can take the 2 screws that hold the
solenoid to the starter, and also the screw that holds the copper lead
from the starter motor off and also the cables and wires, then rotate
the solenoid 90 deg and remove it. replacement is the same as removal,
and remember to put the spring back in...

A note on the foot. If you try an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen
with the pain killers, it makes the pain killer work about 10 times as
good... That is what I do with my back to be able to function.....

If you get into any trouble call me at 405-641-8547 cellular
