Grant, I think Larry has the right idea.  Based on what I have seen of 
the beet harvesters in the Red River Valley, something along those lines 
should be ideal.  Unlike Larry, I don't know where to find one, but a 
one or two row unit would sure seem to be worth checking into for the 
operation you have described. Just my 2 cents.
