[Ford-ferguson] Re:Ford 601 carb question

Rick,
I will see if I can hold my hand on the coil.  I just replaced it last 
June.  I put a 12 V non resistor type on it like my brother said.  I 
wondered about the gas cap too.  Is a vented cap supposed to have a small 
hole (vent) in the center that is visible?  If so, mine doesn't have one.
