[AT] Fw: Computer problems once again.

IE 7 has worked well for me, except for one rather important thing: the
online scanning engines won't run for me - PandaSoftwear online and
Kaspersky Labs both stopped working, and I can't figure out how to set the
permissions for either program to run.

Charlie,
Try this the next time you want to try it. Instead of
left-clicking on the icon for a PDF file, do a right-click (right
mouse button) and download the file. The computer will ask you where
you want to save it; find a place where you can put the file. If this
completes, then open the folder with something like windows explorer
and double-click on the file. this should open the file. If not, it
should give you some sort of error message.. might be something there
that you can do with it. It might be some sort of properties
assignment but it sounds like a security setting in the new version of
IE...

I'm not an expert but this might help.
