[Farmall] Any advice on THIS problem (Off Topic...sorry)

Well....the neighbor boy certainly has a host of problems, though I don't know to what "folder(s)" they would be assigned. As stated, my largest concern was finding a way for him to be "involved" in the (dangerous) things which we all do (machinery, sharp edges, all of that) yet be safe. The concept may reside in the "mutually exclusive" category. To repeat, he is extremely bright (high IQ evaluated professionally), but cannot focus. His daily medication list is mind boggling and the school officials don't seem to be willing to take an upfront role (e.g., he is bullied because he is "different").
I will try to write more later. This whole thing goes back a little bit...I did receive and do appreciate the information regarding safety for kids on the farm. Thanks to all of you for your interest.

Syndrome, and it doesn't sound all that bad a thing to have (compared
with some of the alternatives). In fact, reading the descriptions, I was
starting to wonder if I might even have a mild form - "They usually have
a circumscribed area of interest which usually leaves no space for more
age appropriate, common interests." Like maybe enjoying fixing up and
using Farmall tractors? What is "age appropriate" for one person may not
be for another. Who is to judge? I wonder sometimes where the line gets
drawn between a "syndrome" of some kind and a really smart person who
just isn't interested in bowling, TV reality shows, and professional
football. I don't buy in to a lot of that psycho-science stuff that
wants to find a "syndrome" to pin on folks who doesn't fit someone
else's definition of "normal".
