Charlie,

That shouldn't have been embarrassing for Jack... he had moved away and had
no way to know.  It was my intention to point out how wide Cecil's circle of
friends whose lives he had touched really was.

The internet made it possible for a guy in Ohio to steer a guy in New York
to his first Cub in Indiana.  Cecil's friends were widely scattered.
