Hmm.. Can't say that i agree with any of that.

The 3 cyl jobs were very smooth compaired to other 3 cyl diesels.  Now, the 
2 cyl yanmars do hammer a bit.

I don't think the 3pt hyds are weak in comparison to tractor size.  My 
yanmar 1700 picked up as much weight opn the 3pt as my ford 8n.

Brakes seemed rather robust as well..
