[AT] Cecil...

Regardless of our modern communication systems, some things never change. I
am digitally archiving several hundred letters that were received by my
grandfather. Yesterday I came across one written in 1949 from an
acquaintance my grandfather had not seen or heard from for nearly 50 years.
He asked about my grandmother's health and the health of several other
family members -- all of whom were dead. Those things happen, and I think
we all can relate to the feeling of embarrassment we would feel in similar
circumstances.

I have my own memories of Cecil. He asked me repeated questions about
travel and living conditions in eastern Europe prior to a trip he and
Lucille were planning.

Larry
