My wife got me my first one many years ago . She used to get points for 
selling displays and she had a bunch to use before the program ended . I got 
one ,it was one of the made in some foreign placce but it actually worked 
great for 3 or 4 years till the little circuit board on the charger went 
bad. So I picked one up at Wally , had it for a couple years now .  My 
second choice is a small 2 stroke generator made by homelite ,its 110 v ac 
or 12 v dc ,the dc being at 50 amps . It dont take long to bring a battery 
up with it . Just remember to loosen the caps because if the battery has 
been sitting outside and has any ice on the vents it will blow the caps 
right out . I learned the hard way .    Ivan
