[AT] Winter roads and impact on crops

Salt sure can give damages to plants. Here in sweden I think we use a lot of
salt and brine (If I got it right it's salt and water) We use salt, wet salt
and saltwater they've even tried salt with sugar (at least the deere's (no,
not the green and yellow ones) should at least like that combination.). You
can drive along some part on the highway watching brown pines at some places
and at some places not. On the other hand there are biologist's especially
interested in the special plants that likes the side of gravelroads. The
special plants are there because of the salt and the frequent cutting, could
be the same with paved roads.

When I worked at an private contractor that among things did road
maintanance I was to a seminar about wintersalt. There (and then) it was
said that Michigan used a lot of salt (like a hundred times more than we
do).

I had to google that kudzu. It shouldn't be a problem. Apparently there are
people willing to pay 50 USD for a small jar with pills with extract from
the root of Kudzu!?
