[AT] [AJD] When did Spencer start this list?

My memory of the list goes back to 1995 when I was a junior at NC State,
and computer access had become convenient.  I was still typing my
assignments on an Apple IIc and printing them on an Imagewriter dot
matrix printer.

I signed off every summer when I went home from school because I didn't
have internet at home.  I subscribed "permanently" in 1997.

Seems hard to believe it's been around that long....

Dean I was around back at least that far.  I could probably tell for
sure if 
I would dig my oldest computers out of the closet and hook them back up.

I'm sure I was running a 286 machine on Win 3.1 and might have even been

running an old 86 (?) machine on MSDOS when I first signed up.
