Hoping you all are having the very happiest of holidays and that the New Year coming up is your best ever!
 
The Central Hawkeye Gas Engine and Antique Tractor Association, Inc. has already been gearing up for its 34th Annual Country Life & Power Show on July 18, 19, and 20th, 2008!
 
It will be held in rural Waukee, Iowa --- West of Des Moines, Iowa on I-80, Exit 117 (South side of the Interstate).  Show hours are:  Friday & Saturday 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM.    Sunday 7:00 - 4:00 PM.   
 
This year's featured tractor and featured engine are IH's.   
 
Tractor raffle (more details soon) is for a 1946 Farmall H!  It's now being entirely restored and will even have a professional paint-job!
 
Admission is still only $5.00 for the entire weekend.
Camping is available on grounds  - limited electric serivice, however.  Motels and additional campgrounds are nearby.  
Tractor-driving school will be in operation for both adults and children at no cost!
Flea Market, Craft Show and Antique & Collectors’ Market will all be there!
Grounds shuttles will be running continuously and food will be available on-site.
Shuttle to and from show grounds to Jordan Creek Mall (Des Moines, IA) will run during the day.
