Hi guy's Gals
I am currently working on a 35 D
it ran fairly well when I put it in the shop,
the throttle linkage was brazed together ( very poorly) so I made new
linkage. cleaned the carb set the timing, it was way late.
Starts very well but it surges at both low and hi idle, if you hold the
governor arm it will smooth out both at low and hi idle? The linkage is set
as per the book 1/2 hole short of going in the carb butterfly when the
throttle is set wide open.
Any thoughts or help would be very appreciated.
Oh yes the new linkage is exactly the same length as the old brazed one,
that was checked very closely.
I do not think it can be the governor as it ran smoothly when I parked it in
the shop?
I cannot put the old linkage back on as it is gone!
