Off the top of my head... it takes five quarts to hit the full mark.
I'll be at the farm tonight, could measure a dipstick and report back.

Hi all. What is the crankcase capacity for oil no a '48 VAC? The book
says 4 quarts, but it doesn't even touch the end of the dipstick. Wrong
dipstick or more oil? Thanks.
