[AT] Shipping Small Engines?

Just a couple notes on shipping that I have observed over the years.

Fed-Ex and UPS now have freight trucks. Fed-ex is due to deliver 7500 lbs to
us at work tomorrow.

Motor freight's price is dependent on what you are shipping. It doesn't just
matter the size and weight but also what it is. I work in a machine shop and
we pay far more to ship out completed parts than for the incoming raw
material used to make them. Hang on to your wallet if you are shipping out a
completed piece of machinerey.

Be careful if the box you ship in has hazardous markings for what was
originally shipped in it. We sent a package next day air to Canada only to
have it turned around at the border due to they thought it was something
hazardous. We simply repackaged it and sent it back. Unfortunately we had a
couple of guys waiting on the parts inside--they had to spend a couple extra
days.
