Only if you never intend to use them again... ever!

This two part question only needs one answer.  As long as the sun is over
the yard arm it's OK to have a beer if you wish.  Then flopping isn't as
bothersome and gravity is more friendly.  Keep in mind that it's always 5
o'clock somewhere.  ;-)
