To ATIS:

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am selling the family farm (it is
not entirely a real working farm, but somewhat so). I will close on the
house in less than two weeks and it is something that I do with very
mixed feelings but I needed to do it for several reasons. Regarding the
tractors, I sold the Cub right away and also quickly sold the Woods
mower. The 8N, although in much better shape than the Cub was, has yet
to sell. I think it is because the Fords are very common in this area,
but I'm not sure.

I just want to send a message out to Spencer and the entire group here
to say that I have enjoyed being a participant (largely a reader instead
of a poster) for over 10 years (I can't believe I started here in my
late 20's and now I'm in my 40's!!). I started on the forum in 1994 in
the Forsyth County server days as I recall. It really has been a very
enjoyable "place" to be involved in and I have greatly enjoyed the
knowledge of the posters and I appreciate the advice I have gotten over
the years. Thank you Spencer for setting this forum up!

I'm moving to dreaded suburbia (lol) so I will have no place for
tractors, although I will keep the Gravely for snow blowing and maybe
using it for a vegetable garden(I don't think I'll mow the suburban yard
with the Gravely, that would be overkill.... lol).

Anyway, as I have no more real tractors in my life, I am going to sign
off of the list. I just wanted to send this message to let people know
that I have really enjoyed it here.

Best of luck to everyone in the ATIS realm!!

Regards,

Rob Gray
