Well, a New Holland or any other tractor is out of the question. Not an
option. The gas tank is full. So far I replaced the coil and tomorrow I
will get a new condenser, points, rotor and cap. The cap looks good and
when it went in for the carb rebuild they put new points in but with the
coil as old as it was and no resistor, I think the points may be shot
again. My son's Chevelle was eating points and then we put a resistor on
and that took care of the problem. I haven't looked at the points yet but
it can't hurt to replace them while I am at it. It ran beautiful after I
put the new coil on till it warmed up. Then it started cutting out and
acting up. I will let you guys know after I do all the new stuff. Thanks
for the help.
