[Ford-ferguson] Re: [Ford ferg free parts to 35 gen

Haven't been back for a while to look for 6V alternator for
1952 Ferguson TO30.
I put volt meter on the output of the tractor I recently bought
and it is reading 12V but has a 6V system...ooops
No Voltage regulator to be found.
Should I disconnect the alternator and rely on my 6V-12V charger
until I find a 6V alternator?
The out side of the ampmeter doesn't even show output so it may
have been fried.
Didn't know this when buying from 3rd party seller but live and learn.

How much for a 6V alt? and will it need to have a regulator or
will it be built in?
