Guys, I started my JD 40W yesterday and was driving it around. I ran it up a small incline in all of the gears. When I got to fourth it went up the incline but spit and slowed down (with a little back firing but not much). As I topped the hill it smoothed out. Is that a load adjustment? IF yes which way? LeRoy
