[Farmall] another clutch question

Yes it is a Super AV high crop we used it for cotton and corn. My father
and his brother bought it new, in 1954 according to their memory.

Was the release bearing a give away on the model? I sure had the guys at
the case dealership puzzled about the clutch when I went back and asked if
the two were interchangeable. They could not find any bulletins saying
anything other than they could not get the Auburn any longer.

The graphite had a channel worn in to it so I filed it down smooth. There
are a couple of chunks missing on the inner and outer edges but not on the
face. It probably breathed a sigh of relief when I greased it cause I don't
ever remember my dad taking off the inspection cover and the little plug to
grease anything in that area.

Any way's, I got it stabbed back together this afternoon; still have to
adjust the pedal. But, now I need to decide if I want to overhaul it or
not. The rings and bearings were changed in it some 20 odd years ago. The
tractor does not nearly have the strength I remember it having, although it
may be my memory. I guess I would need to check the compression to be able
to make an educated decision?

So I guess it is really a Super AV then? The clutches are listed as
interchangeable even with that bearing. If the graphite bearing is in good
shape with pretty good thickness left, I wouldn't worry about replacing it.
If it needs replacing, I would probably try to find the other type sleeve
(6116D) to change to a ball bearing, but not make that big a deal of it.
