Rick....I can't help on the Ford info, but thanks for posting the link to
the pix.  They are some interesting snapshots into the early design
engineers' efforts in solving problems using their existing technology.  You
certainly have a long term project on your hands.  There is a lot of
fabricating, welding, and machine work ahead.  Best of luck.
