[Farmall] Freeman auction prices

Lane, you know that all those empty storage sheds create a powerful vacuum,
which is going to attract every old tractor and truck for many miles in
every direction. There's no way that you'll keep them empty.

I have to admit, the O-14 was calling my name. It is the first tractor that
I've ever actually thought about coming clear across the USA to acquire.
Let's see.. coupla weeks off work, maybe $2000 for diesel fuel, then the
bidding war during the auction... heck, it probably wouldn't have cost me
more than $25K for that wonderful tractor. What a tractor hauling trip
story! Worth it just for the bragging rights. Probably seven thousand
miles round trip. Ranks right up there with one of Bob's trips.

I really did want the tractor. Obviously at least two others felt the same
way!
