I have a good Dearborn posthole auger that was built for an N series Ford
or TO series Ferguson. It also fits a number of later Fords and Ferguson's
but I'm not sure of the stopping point. I did make a couple of adapters that
allowed me to use it on the Massey Ferguson 65 but it just won't adapt easy
to the MF-165. It also won't adapt easily to anything else I own. I need to
get some horse fence built and I don't really want to get tied up
redesigning it to fit another tractor right now. I am thinking about putting
it on Ebay and buying one of the new ones from TSC etc. They are not as well
built as the Dearborn but should do the job OK. I don't follow Ford stuff
that close, does anyone here have any idea about what those things are
selling for? I would hate to put it on Ebay without knowing and not get near
what it is worth out of it. It and I go back about 53 years. ;-)
