Farmer,

In response to your' naming contest -

OK so you don't like the name "Yannie." You haven't told us what the
gender of your' Yanmar is but I am assuming it's female. So, can we make up
a word like some folks do when they play Scrabble? If so how about "Naggy"?
The name has the right gender and I think it is kind of fitting for a
four-legged -- I mean four-wheeled -- nag that you want to dress up with a
little warmth and personality.

I suppose once the Yanmar has been christened with whatever formal name you
choose you will be bringing it indoors after work and giving it its' own
place at the supper table!

Dudley

I want to name my Yanmar 1500 diesel... I thought of calling it
"Yannie"
but then I thought since it was such a good worker that maybe its name
should reflect that. I was trying to think up a name that reflected a
heritage of mules or horses. That would also be appropriate since we are
evolving into a more horse-oriented farm. How about some name ideas?
The grand prize is that the winner gets to chat with us around the
campfire
at Portland if they get to that show... ;-) ;-) ;-)
